Guild Membership
|
Friends of the Guild |
To become a member of the guild you must commit to attending at least seven of the nine meetings in a quarter. Membership allows opportunities such as holding an officer position, letters of recommendation for scholarships and/or senior portfolio*, awards, and the privilege to decide what is published in Lambda. Membership can be attained at any time in the school year. For example, you can commit during first quarter, but you play a winter sport. You can join us again during third and fourth quarter.
*If you are a member and wish for one of the leaders to write a letter of recommendation, then you must ask first. It is considered a courtesy to ask at least three weeks before the letter is due. |
Cannot commit to meeting with us regularly or at all? It's okay! You can be a friend to the guild by submitting your work to us. Officers will review your work. You will be updated on the status of your work and notified if your work will be published. Click on the "Submissions" page for details.
